Normandy WWII Beaches F-DAY
Your bilingual and local expert will provide you with the fascinating history of D-Day and the ensuing WW II Battle of Normandy.

Visit the beautiful Normandy country side and re-live one of the key sites of World War II where one of history’s most decisive battles, led by General Eisenhower, began with the Allied invasion of German-held Normandy in June 1944! Travel through the Normandy region to Caen and visit the Memorial-Peace Museum of Caen (optional), the landing beaches of Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach and Saint-Laurent. After lunch (meal not included), stop at the Colleville American Cemetery, (featured in the opening scenes of Saving Private Ryan), Arromanches and the landing beaches of Gold, Juno (where the Canadians and British landed). If time permits your driver or guide (if you choose to book one) will be delighted to suggest a visit of one of the typical Normandy towns where you can taste genuine Camembert cheese and local apple-cider or Calvados brandy.
